Spoil the Wish

The game is simple and follows the following format;

Each response must start with;

Granted, but............

And finish with;

I wish that...............

So first of all you spoil the wish of the person that went before you, by granting them their wish and adding an evil/funny twist to it.

Then you make your own wish.

For example, someone may have wished as follows;

I wish that I won a million pounds...

The next person to post may write;

Granted, but the economy crashes and your million pounds can buy you only three slices of bread...

I wish that I could see into the future.....

Make sense?? If, so then feel free to join in, you can carry on from the last wish posted here;
