While I agree that in general players design scripts to make up for a missing element of the game, the ability to search for both existing, and in production nobleman already exists in game.
Another reason many players make suggestions, is because they don't realize there is a way to do what they are currently asking for, or they could be doing something different themselves to make it easier on themselves.
I will concede however, that being able to pop open a list of existing nobles, or in production nobles would likely be easy to implement (just another query on an already existing table in the database), and could be beneficial (if I couldn't already do it (think)).
