Not a bug: Uploading profile image wont auto-resize it

  1. Summary of the issue (title of the post)
    Uploading profile image won't auto-resize it.

  2. Overview of the bug (description):
    While uploading an image to your profile you get a red message saying "Files Mustn't be larger then 270x180".
    Now, In the 8.19 update list it says(first post under improvements):"- Made profile picture uploading easier. Includes auto-resizing of images."

    (By the way, my image was 300x224)
  3. Steps to reproduce:

    -Go to your profile
    -click on "edit profile"
    -Upload 'an image' using one of the possible methods (drag+drop or click+select)
  4. Reproduction rate (Every time? Sometimes?):

    Every time using that particular image, I tried it with another image (800x450) and it worked fine.
  5. Browser and Version:
    Chrome 32.0.1700.76

What file type did you try to upload? Gif's can't be resized for technical reasons.
