Rejected: Time of returning troops

I noticed that when you send an attack composed of units with different speeds,the returning time of troops is the same although slower troops are all dead..
Logically, the time of return should be established by the slower unit survived..
I think that is an old non-sense code error..but today is still present..

Sorry for bad english,and sorry if this bug was already reported.

It's not a code error or bug. The returning time is calculated when you send the attack.

But that discussion had concluded that it would be appropriate to propose the changing as an idea..
So,this is the Ideas forum?I think yes ;)

Can someone of the team give a reliable answer about a possible fix?

It's just something that everyone has come to rely on. Changing this would be quite dramatic, I imagine. :p

The only problem I can see to the troops returning at a faster speed because all of a slower unit has been killed,
is that it would then make back timing more difficult.

eg. an attack hits at ram speed and runs home at LC speed.
