Why would you want your offensive units defend against an attack if defensive units can do the job!?
Offensive units (axe,LC,MountedARCHER,ram,catapult, noble should defend against an attack only after all defensive units spear, sword, archer, spy, heavy, militia are defeated (in the same village, single attack)
The way losses are calculated now, offensive units (with low defensive strength) fight alongside defensive units, leading to unnecessary losses of OFF
In practice, what I am proposing means that initially, offensive units are taken out of the equasion.
First, losses of defensive units are calculated.
Only if the attacking offensive units defeat all defensive units, there's a second calculation calculating the losses of the remaining offensive units vs defending offensive units.
Adding to this;
among defensive troops, militia should be the first to die.
after 6 hours they are deleted anyway so why spare them?
