Cannot reproduce: Attack Planner Fails to accept player name

When I try to use the attack planner to target an opponent by placing that players name into the designated area and using the 'enter' key as prescribed the name is not ever accepted. This is supposed to be the place where the target players name is to be used so the planner can work. Since the 'enter' key does not work in this instance what is next?

There seems to be no way to enter a targets name into the attack planner. I filed a support ticket and the reply I got sent me here.
