The way it is set up now has worked for several years - why exactly do you think it should be changed? You want to build more troops? Changing the population numbers for buildings would break a great many building strategies for many thousands of players. ;P

Of course a larger troops count in a village, especially for offense villages would be a huge plus.
But it would also tip the scales of the game.
I think the quantity of points available to train troops is good as is.
If you want to train more troops, make smaller village builds.
Nobody says you HAVE to make a 10k village.
Make a 6k village.
